HR Business Partner / Italy / International French Group (Filled job)

In partnership with the country manager you will launch and structure the opening of the Italian office within a solid international group. As the HR referent for the italian entity, the mission of the HR Business Partner is to support the local fast growth while by being the guarantor of the company’s DNA. The HRBP will participate in the definition and implementation of the HR strategy and ensure all missions related to the management of Human Resources for its scope :

  • Influencing the HR strategy relevant localization.
  • Activating the expertise of the headquarter (Compensation & Benefits; Talent Acquisition; Employee Experience; Training; Talent Development; Legal)
  • Being the local referent by responding to the daily needs of managers

The position reports to the Head of Talent Acquisition and international HRBP based in France and transversally to the country manager.

While the company has just finalized an important fundraising to support its international development, this is a key moment to join the company, play an important role and learn a lot.

RESPONSABILITIES

Building the italian entity

  • Collaborating with the HQ talent acquisition team (Based in Lyon in France) to hire the 10+ people local team
  • Contracting and onboarding the new hired people
  • Partnering with the local suppliers to set up the HR and workplace management

HR strategy

  • Adapt the group’s HR strategy while ensuring that local specificities are respected
  • Structuring a solid HR department, while contributing to the development of a common global culture
  • Coordinating with the HR team at headquarters to ensure the correct application of processes and consistency of group HR services:
  • Develop and implement various HR projects, cross-functional and international projects

Managers’ HR Referent

  • Handle all requests related to urgent and daily HR issues in the BUs.
  • Supporting managers in their relations with their teams
  • Coaching managers and employees in their area of responsibility in managing change
  • Middle management uskilling on HR and culture challenges
  • Find solutions (in collaboration with the headquarter’s experts team) to meet the needs of managers (conflict management, specific training needs, mobility, dismissals, recruitment emergencies, etc.).
  • Proactively support change by ensuring that information is properly transmitted to managers. Thanks to a close relationship with managers, quickly identify situations that require attention. Structure and systematize feedback to facilitate the removal of obstacles or difficulties. Quickly inform teams of changes
  • Guarantee a high participation rate in the social barometer.

Talent Acquisition,  Onboarding & Development

  • Collaborating with the HQ Talent Acquisition to hire new talent
  • Recruiting directly some local talent.
  • Manage contact with designated recruitment agencies
  • Develop partnerships with schools and organizations
  • Manage the employer brand for employees within its scope
  • Ensuring and coordinating the onboarding of new employees within its scope
  • Implement the group’s training policy and manage the implementation of training sessions

HR administration

  • Manage employment contracts and amendments to employment contracts
  • Manage individual employee administrative files
  • Manage meal tickets
  • Prepare DUP meetings
  • Manage the management charts
  • Ensure the application of social regulations and legal obligations
  • Manage disciplinary files

Manage payroll and variable elements

  • Ensure all entries and updates
  • Check the reliability of payroll data, analyse and correct anomalies identified in accordance with internal procedures
  • Ensure the production of periodic legal declarations, participate in the payment of contributions
  • Ensuring that work stoppages are entered into the payroll software and monitoring sickness and provident files
  • Manage employee savings plans
  • Administer the HR tool

Communication

  • Identify and lead the ambassadors in the area
  • To be the relay and decline the group communication on its perimeter
  • Promote the group’s values within the team

Workplace Management (Brera Neighborhood)

  • Ensure the set-up and the organization of the working environment
  • Manage health and safety on your site
  • Promote company life in conjunction with the country manager

PROFILE

  • Master’s degree in HR or equivalent, with 10-12+ years of experience in the HR field . Excellent knowledge of HR administrative issues and payroll elements
  • Italian & English fluent; French preferred
  • Knowledge of local labor law, of legal, regulatory and contractual obligations & HR regulations in Italy
  • Experience in a subsidiary within an international group
  • HR projects, cross-functional and international projects management experience
  • Experience in a fast growing and matrix organization company
